Sleep Meditation - Get Sleepy At Halloween

In tonight's Sleep Meditation with Karissa, we take inspiration from Halloween to help us look at the things that we keep beneath the surface, and playfully acknowledge the darker parts of life so that we can integrate them. Meditation is a wonderful way to integrate all the parts of ourselves, which helps soothe our minds. Get cozy and take a deep breath, as we go on a meditation journey together.

First, we'll start with some relaxing insight from Karissa (00:00-04:13)

Before tonight's Sleep Meditation (04:13-38:48)

The origins of Halloween have roots in a Celtic festival known as Samhain. The festival was a way to welcome the harvest and usher in the darker half of the year. Light and dark are so fundamental to our lives and the lives of every human being who has come before that we have co-evolved with the light and the dark as essential features of our environment. Let's take time to look at the light and the dark tonight.
